Mighty productive day all thanks to Oliver's new obsession-his rattle. Funny enough it was actually a giftcard holder from a baby shower that was a rattle BUT I gave it to him and he loves it! Great teething toy and it keeps him occupied.. It's a beautiful thing! (I forgot Sophie-the giraffe- the giraffe at work so I made it work!)


Have I mentioned how much I love his BabyLegs/legwarmers. They are fabulous! You can find them cheaper on Etsy but the ones he has on today are from the ZootieB brand.

Rain rain go away!! Seriously.. Too much rain.

But Oliver is getting stronger by the day. We had fun with him at work. Brooke helped him stand up at first and giggled the whole time. If he didn't get his foot stuck then he would have been standing the whole time. Sorry for my commentary.

Things I learned today:
1) Sugar-free Hawaiian Punch drink mix tastes just like Hawaiian Punch but only has 10 calories for a whole bottle!! (I got it to send to jeff but had to try one)
2) Oliver sleeps through my loud singing in the car
3) I'm still very out of shape. 1 mile walk/jog= 11.5 minutes.
4) dogs don't like walking on treadmills.. At least mine doesn't.. And my Mom's don't either!




Oliver fist pumps. It's T-shirt time! He should be on the next Jersey Shore! ;)



He likes to hold his bottle even though it doesn't usually work or last long!

PPD#014

Oliver cooperated today and let me be productive. Let's see what all we did...

Did laundry (mine & Oliver's)
Cleaned the kitchen (including dishes)
Picked up bedroom, bathroom, and living room
Got groceries (12 comments on how cute he was- a new record for him)
Skyped with my hubby for 2.5 hours- Oliver didn't cooperate during some of that time though..
Called TCC to see what Jeff's balance is
Applied for a couple of positions online that would be pretty cool
Cleaned out the pantry
Portioned off 100 calorie snacks in ziplock baggies so they are easy to grab and go
Made a decent dinner- tortellini alfredo & steamed veggies

Only things I didn't get in today: workout (twice as hard tomorrow) and Oliver's bath (he passed out mid-bottle).



This is from 1/2 way up the hill to the neighborhood looking out across Fayetteville. Pretty cool view everyday but today all of Fayetteville was covered in a really REALLY thick smoke. Supposedly there was a controlled fire out around Lake Fayetteville.. Either way it sucked. :( this picture was 2 hours after the smoke rolled to the south side of Fayetteville and it was still thick!!

We babysat the girls again today. Gigi and I went to see Rango while the house keepers were cleaning.. And Oliver didn't make a peep!! :) he slept for a lot of it and was just in awe the rest of the time.
Then we got back and he passed out! :) sweet boy! :)

5.5 months left until Jeff comes home.. AKA I'm kicking my butt into high gear to lose this weight. 40lbs in 5 months. I can do this!! Several have told me I should make the goal less HOWEVER.. this is what I looked like 40lbs ago SO don't worry. I won't be skin and bones! :)




Also taking my vitamins again. I've noticed I feel terrible when I don't take them so hopefully this will help! I need Iron!!!!!! :)

Oliver loves his elephant. It's really soft and cuddly. Its only partially stuffed so he can love on it!

He's getting so big! He was really awake and wiggly so I decided to put him on the floor with a burp rag... and he wiggled a good foot!! Not quite an army crawl but close! I swear he is going to be walking next week!!

Oliver tried green beans tonight and pretty much inhaled them!! So far he likes apples and green beans. A few more days with these and then we will try something else.. Maybe carrots?
